TierEdu today is an information page, not a working platform. This notice describes what actually happens when you open it or write to us — nothing more.
Interim notice. Not yet reviewed by a lawyer, and it will be replaced with a full version once the company is incorporated. We are publishing it now because pointing a footer at a document that does not exist is worse than publishing one that is honest about its limits.
Dated addendum — . The interest-list form went in on this date. An earlier version of this notice said we stored no addresses at all; that is no longer true. Exactly what changed is set out in sections 2 and 3 below, and it is published with the feature rather than after it.

Who controls your data
TierEdu, operated by Sam Ludford in a personal capacity. No company has been incorporated yet, so this notice carries no company number and no registered address — we will not invent either.
No name fields and no other personal data in the form — we ask for your address and which you are (academy or student), nothing else.
No analytics, no tracking pixels, no marketing cookies, and no sale of data to anyone.

What we actually process
The interest list. If you submit the form we collect your address and your segment (academy or student) — nothing else. Submitting does not add you: we email you a confirmation link valid for 48 hours, and your address is not recorded on the list until you open it (double opt-in). Purpose: one email a month about what we actually built. Sub-processor: Resend, an email service that hosts the list and sends on our behalf. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can ask for your address to be deleted outright at any time via [email protected]. Basis: your consent, which you may withdraw whenever you like.
Your message, if you write to us. We receive your address and what you wrote, and process it for one purpose: replying to you and continuing the exchange. Basis: a legitimate interest in answering people who write to us.
Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare generates technical logs on every request (IP address, request time, browser type, page requested) to run and protect the network. We do not extract them, turn them into analytics, or connect them to any identity. The waitlist form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots — it receives your IP address, browser type and connection fingerprint, sets no tracking cookie, and its use is governed by Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers when the page opens, and those logs fall under Google’s policy.

What is stored on your device
One browser key named te-theme, remembering your appearance preference (light · dark · auto). It is never sent to a server, and you can clear it from your browser settings.
If you previously granted this site location permission, the homepage uses it inside your browser only to work out sunset and pick the automatic theme. The coordinates never leave your device and we never see them.

Your rights
You may ask for access to what we hold about you, or its correction, deletion, or a copy of it, and you may object to our processing. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within thirty days.
You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Retention
We keep emails for as long as the exchange is live or relevant to work in progress, then delete them.
We keep your address on the interest list until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, whichever comes first. Confirmation requests you never open expire within 48 hours and are recorded nowhere.
